I heard that as the lungs mature they don't get the hiccups as much. After 36 wks they slow down a ton.

@Kimberly4411 No, I'm not confined to bed until I get an epidural. And they are letting me drink.clear fluids with the pitocin, which I didn't expect.
-
Just got checked. Starting point at 2cm and 90%. Let's hope the pit speeds things up! :)

Thanks for sharing ladies! I am sure I will feel so much better when baby is here and in my arms. :)
-
If its going to work, it will happen within 48 hrs. I had mine stripped twice with this pregnancy and all I got was some cramping and spotting. I was at 2cm and 90%. Still pregnant! Better luck to you!

My doc said it's more practical to donate it and then it should be there if you need it. The chances of finding a match other than your baby are super rare. So that's what we're going to do!

They are probably going to do a colposcopy to examine the cells under a microscope. You will be fine, momma. It feels about the same as a pap. If they see any abnormalities, they might take a little scraping of them to biopsy. Paps can be inaccu…

Bump...i want to know too! Had second degree tear with my first, no episiotomy.

I'm here too, after having my cerclage removed sept. 15th! Docs were sure baby would come.soon after. Scheduled induction for Monday 10/10! Unless, of course, baby shows up before then.

Hmmmm...when my milk let down I would get an itchy/tingling feeling while breastfeeding my first. Make sure your nipple guard is not only clean, but dry. Moisture could cause itching.

If you are having palpitations it can take your breath away. I dont know if thats what you mean by having your throat tickle? Try to relax, stress will make them more frequent. I had palpitations in my first pregnancy due to a slight iron deficien…

I got my son a couple of really cute handmade hand puppets so he can tell the baby stories.

Its unlikely that she flipped that late in pregnancy since she was already head down. Maybe she just rolled to the other side or is facing your back and thats why you are.feeling different?
-
5 days until induction, unless baby makes an appearance before then!
-
We just wrote it in our birth plan and went over it with our doctors around 36 wks. They should respect your wishes. It can sometimes take 30 mins or so. Usually they will wait 5-15 with no problem. If the doc was in a hurry I could see it being…

You should have plenty of time if you are not contracting. Just dont get in the bathtub or have sex after its broken cause it can introduce infection.
-
Good luck! Hopefully it will speed up for you.

They won't give her shots if shes sick. Just tell them before hand. Yes, you can give her tylenol before.

My baby has not dropped at 38+1 & I have had a butt in my ribcage for weeks. I know how you feel. I cant bend over anymore because it knocks the wind outta me. And forget about eating a whole meal....

Due the 15th. Induction set for the 10th if baby doesnt come sooner!

I just had a growth scan done last week at 36+5 and baby weighed 6lb 9oz. I think that your measurement is right on! Babies go through growth spurts too. And ultrasound measurements aren't always 100% accurate. Sounds to me like you are right wh…

Yes, you normally get a pap. And they will check to make sure all your lady parts are back to normal.

Wow, those are really good hospital pics. He's a super cute little guy!

10 hrs with my first. We will see about this one, seems stubborn already!

I did 2 rounds of clomid and developed 2 cysts (7 and 8 cm) on my left ovary and an 8 cm cyst on my right. Stupid doctor. I was already ovulating. Lots of pain!
-
Just dont bounce too hard.

The tea will not induce labor. At all. It will tone your uterus and help during active labor. Sex and walking are the only things my doc say are proven to help and even then, baby wont come til baby is ready! Good luck!

37+2 weighs 6lb 9oz

Glad to hear he's doing so well. Congrats!
