Whats the deal?

Why is this place all of a sudden becoming so populated with "attention seeking rude women"? I say it like that because I almost feel like they are fake accounts. It seems to be a growing trend the last few days. This is a forum for women and men who are parents, going through pregnencies, or ttc. What is the point of creating drama around here? I just don't get it.

  • I feel the same way, mama.
  • You have an internet forum filled with hormonal raging bitches who are pregnant, there is bound to be more drama and claws than other places on the internet.
  • @misskeribabee

As forums, apps, and sites grow, trolls begin to show up. It is a natural, yet sad, occurrence nowadays on the internet. The larger the forum gets, the more fake accounts and made up drama will appear. It's a cycle. I have learned to roll with the punches and laugh at the sad attempts at stirring the drama-pot. ;)
  • @michelya, I understand that, but its getting ridiculous now. People are posting things just to get a rise out of others. This is not just your typical here and there drama BS. It LOOKS like a lot of it is very intentional. I'm just saying, there is no need for it..

  • @fingerscrossed, great point! I didn't even stop to think about the trolling thing DUH!!! lol. But on a pregnancy website?? C'mon that is just lame. Oh well my own horomones are getting the best of me on this topic lol..I guess I need to take a pregly break :)

Smile, shrug, ignore. That's what I have to do for some posts. Then others say something so cool/interesting/entertaining it makes dealing with all the hormonal brats/possible fake accounts worth it. I just stay out of it, though I can't lie, sometimes I read those insane threads just for kicks. And speaking nof kicks, there goes my little fetus...
  • @mama0811, cuz I felt like it?? Lol

  • whats this troll talk???
  • Sad cycle..anywho

Anyone else dying from heartburn? I thought this pregnancy was smooth sailing, no morning sickness, no symptoms really then BAM!! I'm 20 weeks now with the worse heartburn ever!! I knew it was too good to be true lol
  • k thanx. checked it out. I didn't know there was a name for that
  • @FirstTimeDaddy No worries. :) I am a bit of a geek - video games, blogs, etc. - so sometimes I forget not everyone knows the slang, haha.
  • To tell yall the truth I dnt even hear bout it I never nun I guess thats the way rite :">
  • Oh, boy! I understand completely that this behavior gets under everyones skin, but creating a discussion for the sole purpose to complain about this behavior is just continuing the cycle. Therefore, I am sinking this discussion. However, if there is any problems, I will have no choice other than to close or delete it. Its okay to vent; I want to make that perfectly clear; but I also want to make it clear that this only creates& continues the exact issues that you're complaining about as well as making the job as moderator more difficult thus making more members bash the moderators for doing their job. I hope this doesn't cause any animosity with anyone, but I am trying to avoid this turning into yet another dilemma. You're free to continue a conversation with each other, but by sinking it means it wont pop up to the top when someone comments on it. Please, no fighting, judging, etc; okay? Thanks!
