I need help with colors !!

So I decided that I love the blue crib (sky/light but bright blue) from IKEA. And will probably get the blue and white furniture to match. My carpet is a tan/creme color.

I wanted to do a different color on my walls other than white.. maybe even one focal painted wall or something.. but I don't have any idea which color to do it.

I'm also open to the double color walls or designs..

Can anyone suggest anything for my walls?

If your baby is a boy maybe tan walls with red accent colors or for a girl lavender or pink with crib set that contains the same blue color.

Are you having a boy or a girl? A pale blue would go well, you could have one main feature wall that you could paper, they do gorgeous wall papers these days for kids rooms. or maybe even just not have one main colour, you could do allsorts of colors, mix and match things up x

yes, a boy. i need to make a stop at the paint store and find some good colors. I am stuck between the pale yellow and pale blue.. maybe both.. we shall see

Do you have the bedding picked out? I would choose colors from there.

it will probably be more primary colors in the bedding. but the furniture that i am getting is sky blue and white. and with all of that blue.. i needed something else to kind of cut it a little bit.

i've been seeing a lot of room with those colors that are accenting with dark gray but i'd rather have lighter or brighter colors than grays.
