I'm on my last round of femara. Today is cd 19 and I still haven't gotten a positive opk. I'm trying so hard not to lose hope... my cycle is never normal.. I'm pretty sure the usual is 36 days.. any kind words are appreciated... have been bding since cd10 using preseed and instead cups...

Im on femara! Our first month it produced 2 eggs along with the second month. We are also doing iui's. Have you been offered that or anyother drugs with femara? My regime is femara days 3-7, hcg shot, and progesterone cream. What's yours?

Do they know what's wrong with you yet? I have a pituitary tumor and got put on bromocriptine for it. If that's the case with you those drugs wont work unless you are on bromocriptine.

Thanks for the response! I am hypothyroid... just got that undercontrol... had pcos but apparently its gone. I had gastric bypass 2 yrs ago to give us a better chance of conceiving... its seems to have pushed us back. I did an hsg everything was fine. Husband fine. I just don't ovulate. Today was cd 21 for me.. my progestrone levels were only 2.8 on femara 5mg cd 3 thru 7. This was my final round with my ob. They have referred me to a reproductive endocrinologist. Ill give them a call tomorrow. I really appreciate your response. I have a hard time finding someone who actually KNOWS what I'm dealing with.

Im hypothyroid too! But mine since birth. I've heard that if your thyroid isn't under control you can't get prego, but once it is it can take your body a few months to adjust to it. That's the same dosage im on too. I see a fertility doc, because of my multiple issues. I highly recommend using one because of the fact that they are specialized in that field. I hope you conceive soon, baby dust and prayers sent your way! Oh have you had your cortasone levels check too?

im sooo sorry its taken me so long to respond.... well happy news! im pregnant!!! 21 weeks actually. that last does of femara did it. my drs are baffeled... and im grateful!!

Thank you thank you!! We are blessed. This lil miracle took us 5 yrs to conceive. And I love him so much already. So so much.

@kittypotato Did you take Femara to conceive? How many times did you have to do? I took Clomid 7 mos and Femara 2 mos. We are now 19 weeks pregnant with a little girl. I have just never read about anybody else doing Femara.

I did 3 rounds of clomid and 3 of femara! The third round of femara is what did it for us!! March 17 was my cycle day 21 labs and they said it didn't work.. my progestrone was only 2.8. Well 11 days later I took a test on a whim and it was positive! A miracle no less. Congrats on your baby girl!!! We had been trying for 5yrs and we finally got my body all situated to conceive!!
