Today was my first doc appt and u/s. The heart rate was 169 and I'm exactly 8 weeks today. So excited. I got a little teary eyed when I saw him/her, so many emotions. I think it finally hit my husband as well because he started getting really protective and telling me to be careful and avoid certain things. It was really annoying at first until he held me and looked me in the eyes with so much love and concern. Just an amazing day and wanted to share.

    That is so sweet! My boyfriend was the same way when I got the first ultrasound in the emergency room. He treats mgr like a princess and always has his hands on my belly. I'm excited for you guys!

    That happened to me too :) my husband got teary when we first saw our baby move around on the screen. We went out and bought a frame for the us pics. I got mine at 10 weeks and I'm 14 now. 5 weeks until I get my next one.

    That's great @victoriab. Because of my insurance I can't get another until 18-20 weeks, but by then I will get to see the sex ( hopefully).

    If I can't find out the sex, I'm going to go to a doctor that my cousin works for. He can tell me what I'm having based on my pulse or something like that.

    Congratulations :D my husband.cried and my son wouldnt stop smiling when.we heard the heartbeat :) we love our little peanut!
