positive pregnancy test if you have Miscarried?

Am 10 weeks pregnant, and obviously worried about baby till the 12 week scan, does anyone know if you would still get a positive preg test if you had miscarried earlier in the pregnancy and not realised it? Having read some discussions it seems not all people get bleeding or cramping when they miscarry and still have all the pregnancy symptoms. Any ideas? xx

If you have a missed miscarriage, you will not bleed but your symptoms will fade away quickly and you will have pains but your body wont expel the baby. These are rare, but happen, I had one in may. Best of wishes. Don't stress out though! That makes risks of MC go up.

@kayleesmommy I to had a missed mc. Although I stil hap pregnancy symptons nausea, sore boobs. Experienced no pain or cramping or bleeding. Went for 1st ultrasound should of been 13 weeks 3 days but 2 little bubs were no bigger than 5 weeks. Docs said my body stil thought I was pregnant because 2 weeks after 1st ultrasound was stil havin positive pregnancy tests and stil havin preg symptons. In end docs had to take me to theatre as my body wasnt letting them come away naturally. Now am 6 weeks preg and keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck Melissa! I got pregnant again afterwards and am now 21 weeks 3 days. I never thought I had any symptoms either then realized I had back spasms for 3 weeks, which was the first sign...which I didn't realize could be a sign. I was supposed to be 11 weeks and baby stopped growing at 7 weeks. I found out I was pregnant a week after baby stopped growing. It was very hard but like I said, very rare.
