How early can you see anything in the ultrasound?

I went to the Dr today, according to my last period I'm 7 weeks but I'm pretty sure I ovulated very late so I think I'm only 5 weeks. Anyway when he did the ultrasound nothing showed up at all. He said it might be too early to see anything. So I got a blood test today and I'm gonna do another on Friday, if my levels haven't gone up by Friday then I'm probably having a miscarriage:(

    I had my first US at 6 weeks and you could see the baby but he just looked like a little white blob on the screen but its different for everybody, don't stress yourself too much.

    I am going through the same exact thing now yesterday went through all kinds test hcg level is low has to be double tomorrow the ultrasound they said couldn't see anything to early on the release paper says early iup intrauterine pregnancy vs. Spontaneous abortion vs. Ectopic pregnancy I'm 5wks n the Dr made me more nervous than I was I'm sorry you're going through this too I will keep you in my prayers good luck
