5 weeks 5 days pregnant any one also have light brown vaginal discharge??

This is my first prenancy and yesterday early afternoon I found a light brown discharge when I wiped. I went to the doctors for a quick check up and she said it was fine and common. Has anyone else experience this problem??

I am seven weeks and this just happened to me. Checked out okay with the doctor too. Apparently its quite common. Good luck!

Any type of spotting or discharge should be mentioned to your physician, but brown discharge in early pregnancy can have several causes. One of the most common reasons for spotting is implantation. Though not all women may notice implantation bleeding, others may have some discharge for a few hours when the fertilized egg embeds in the uterus wall. This spotting can be brown, red, or pink, and is sometimes the very first sign a woman has that she is pregnant. Implantation bleeding is most likely to occur during the first two weeks after conception occurs. Other brown discharge in early pregnancy that occurs is simply related to the growth and stretching of the uterus and the surrounding tissue. As the uterus changes size and shape to accommodate the growing embryo, some light bleeding can occur. Since this bleeding occurs slowly and is not part of an active blood flow, the blood is often light brown by the time it exits the body.

Thaks ladies this was helpful. Now its been more than four days and no more brown discharge.....:) im pretty greateful! I hope everything goes well wish me luck!! And good luck to you guys as well.

Omg I have 27 weeks today and I have 3 days with this brown stuff and today wass alot im so skeart is this normal ?/?is my firts babe I dont wanna losed ....the u have to go to the doctor???

Yes go and see the doc to make sure everything is ok. Im only six and half weeks long its normal for first trimesters. Just see the doc so it will give you some reassurance. Im sure everything is fine no worries and let me know how it go.
