Have you ladies thought about this???

What about the after birth. I heard thats just as bad as pushing out baby. I hope not. But I never hear any one say anything about how that feels. Just wondering ;;)

  • Wondering the same thing...
  • After birth?? Placenta or what??
  • I never felt the afterbirth. This is my 3rd pregnancy.
  • It's a lot easier in my opinion.
  • It isn't as hard as pushing out the baby. It is about the size of a frisbee round unfolded, and pretty thick, but it only takes about 1 push. You have to realize you just pushed a baby through there so everything is still stretched, and at that point in time you will be gazing into your little ones eyes! You won't hardly notice. Maybe that's why women don't mention it a lot!
  • Ha ha yeah I think thats what its called. I couldn't think of it for nothing!!! Its like the sack where all waste goes.
  • Does not hurt at all.im preg wit 5th.u push a couple times and dr pulls it out at same time.its very squishy.they check it to make sure its all there and then they start cleaning u up.
  • Its not bad really. U feel a lil cramping and the nurse will tell u to push a little bit and it just comes out. Feels kinda gross and I recommend not looking at it lol
  • This is my 3rd pregnancy I don't remember feeling it at all with the first 2
  • @cmckelvie86 @ammasmamma thats what I was thinking I'm sure it doesn't compare to an 6lb plus baby. Thanks ladies ;;)
  • Its nothing. If u have drugs it feels like when your nose bleeds and u have a long clot slide out. Lol its nasty but its the weirdest sensation. I felt like my stomach slid out lol. But hopefully you will have someone distract you during it. Don't worry though
  • I didn't push. My Dr just massaged my tummy and pushed it down and it came out
  • @Proudmomma lol that description made me laugh. Good description though ;) =P~
  • Sorry idk what that second face is lol stupid touch screen phone
  • Lol its all good. See I heard if u have an epidural you don't feel it. I had an entithcal and felt it slide out of my tummy. Lol now I'm thinking about it, I get to feel that in a few weeks.
  • Does anyone know how much it is to get the placenta into capsules to take after birth? Its very healthy
  • I didn't push either. I didn't even know mine came out. I completely forgot about it and days later my mom said how gross it looked. She said it just came out. I didn't even realize. I was too busy kissing on my baby :)
  • Ok im glad to know this!
  • Yeah, didn't hurt at all. My epidural was about 1/2 way worn off by that time & it took one push & it was out. Weird, kinda gross-feeling, lol, but not painful at all. :)
  • I didn't get an epridurl..but after i had my son the dr was like ok now for the placenta i was like..what..??
i was so tired i had totally forgot about that.!
but yea..it just slides out..a little gwey..real easy and doesn't hurt.
