Do u think its wrong that....

A few weeks ago my bf asked me my ring size. Im not sure of it because he bought me promise rings at the beginning of our relationship and I lost them since they were too big. I told him if he plans on asking the question he should hold out once we get settled since we have a baby on the way. Plus We need that money more for the baby. I think its more sweet that he is thinking that way and I see where he stands. But he told me he completely understands. Do u think I should have just let him buy the ring? Or am I screwing up a soon to be proposal by thinking of the baby first?

    You aren't screwing up anything :) its awesome that you think of the baby before yourself and others, even if he bought the ring now you may have to get it resized a few times I can't wear my my rings lol but what matters is you know his intentions and that you love him for that...make sure that he knows that you aren't rejecting his offer besides most people get engaged before they have a ring anyways and after the baby is born you might be able to pick out your own ring ;) that's always a plus congrats on being a soon to be mommy and wife :) and don't let anyone make you feel guilty for your decision you know what's best for you and your relationship

    Awe thanks! I think my bf understands its not a let down. We have been together almost 5years and I dont have to have a ring right away. The baby is the focus right now. :)
