  • I smoked about 20 a day, it was quite hard just try having one when you really need one i.e after a meal, i cut down to like 30 a week before i finally quit i used lollipops and kept fingers busy by doin cross stitchin
  • I am down to one or two a day which I think is an accomplishment. I just thought it would be easy once I was pregnant and it is not.
  • I always thought I'd quit straight away if i found out i was pregnant but not has easy has i thought, my midwife said if i get stressed a lot will prob be better havin a couple of cigs a day then stressing
  • Quit smokn it can cause birth defect not even1 duh dat y they said dnt be around snd hand smoker
  • I just up and quit when I found out I was pregnant.
For some reason I just don't get addicted to anything.
So I'm not even sure why I smoked as much as I did. :p
I've decided to not start back up either.
  • luckily for me cigs make me want to throw now up if i smell them so havent been near one since week 3 when i found out! Hard tho, still getting cravings but I just think about how guilty i would feel if i smoked and damaged the baby or it was born with asthma or something, i couldnt live with myself so that stops me picking up a packet but i am an anxious person anyway so easier said than done!
  • I'm in the same boat. I'm working on weaning myself off bc Dr says quitting cold turkey puts too much stress on the baby and that any harmful effects start after 20 weeks. So I only give myself so many a day and everyday I'm decreasing it by one.
