cvs testing?

Hey everyone I'm 7 weeks and I carry a genetic disorder my first son passed away from 5 years ago....its a 50/50 percent chance this baby will also have it.....I'm soo scared....praying this babes healthy...but on the sidenote...I am going for cvs testing at 11 weeks...I'm a lil nervous...was wondering if any of you have had the cvs done befor and how did it go?

    I was going to have it done but when the specialist did an ultrasound, he said I couldn't have one because the placement of the placenta. He said it upped my risk of miscarriage.
    The CVS test has a slighter higher risk of miscarriage than the Amniocentesis, anyways. And whoever performs the procedure should be very well known in doing them.
    But I was told it is pretty painless. Might have some cramping and light bleeding but other than that it shouldn't really hurt.
