scared about contaminated baby clothes

My best friend had two boys and I am also having a boy and she wants to give me some of her old baby clothes. I know that her bf is a drug dealer and im scared that if he had people over and they were smoking meth or something that it could be in the baby clothes and I don't want my baby to die or get really sick by something that has contaminated the clothes. If I wash them really good do you think that it would help or should I not take them?

    Its ok just wash them but ur baby.cant die from old meth.smoke..trust me I knw my bro.use to.smoke it very heavy

    Wash it twice in hot water sounds good.
