Don't worry its not a big deal at all, I had it with my son and all they did was give me antibiotics when I was delivering him, he's perfectly healthy you and your baby will be fine
I was with my first too, its no big deal you just need IV antibiotics every 4 hours during labor I now have a happy, healthy 14 month old girl and 29 weeks pregnant with my second girl @nicksmommy no it is a bacteria 40% of women carry. You will get swabbed in between your rectum and vagina for it between 35 and 37 weeks
@nicksmommy. No its an infection that can be passed from mother to baby and can cause sepsis in the baby. It can be very dangerous to newborns. That's why they test you when you get closer to delivery and if you have it then you will get antibiotics so the baby is not affected.
