in need of knowledge?

Hello all Well... I was pregnant for the first time and I lost my baby at 7 weeks on 2 5 11. I had an eptopic pregnancy.. I went into surgery and they took my baby and my right tube. My hcg was only 400. From what I was told I understand that is very low. Now its been almost 2 months and I started having some symptoms. Sore breasts, sensitive nipples, gas, weird dreams, emotional and TIRED!! So I've taken 2 pregnancy tests and they were both positive. I'm afraid it could still be reading my last pregnancy. Does anyone know how long it generally takes for your hcg to drop? Since mine was only 400 would it be gone by now? Any comments or advice is wanted and welcomed

It took me more than a month to get lower than 5 (not considered pregnant). I would call your Dr and see if they will order another beta hcg so you can se if it is above the 400. Or for a couple repeat tests after to see if it is rising. Good luck: )

What was your hcg at to start with? Did you have a mc or eptopic?

Well I had two MC. The first one was very early and I passed everything naturally. It took maybe 3-4 weeks to go back down from about 600 or so. The second was a little further along. Hcg was 3000. Took the medication to make the lining come out and to hurry the process along and it took about 6-8 weeks to go back down. Its worth calling your Dr to see if they will monitor hcg level for you.
