Going to the gym

I'm 9wks and I just went back today after finding out I was pregnant a few weeks ago. I know its good for you but I can't help but to get nervous. I didn't do much just walked on the treadmill for 25 min and the elliptical for 10. Do any of you work out and if so what do you do?

  • Sqauts and yoga help w/ flexiblity and delivery :) arm circles ..!!
  • I used to play soccer but I can't run for to long now or walk for to long cuz my hips hurt so bad I can barely walk lol. So now I just walk for a few and the light weights for my arms. Haven't really worked my legs yet cuz I'm afraid my hips will hurt.

  • Absolutely!! I am 11 weeks today and have not stopped working out. I lift upper body weights, I ride the bike and will do the elliptical. Everything I have read says that exercise is so good for mom and baby! AND alot of people have told me that it makes delivery easier. Exercise away!
