UTI & antibiotics

I had my first prenatal appt today and after I had my lab work done the Dr. Told me I had a uti and that they wanted to give me macrobid to help clear it up. I'm allergic to a lot of antibiotics so this is kind of like a trial and error thing, I've never taken macrobid before and I'm afraid to take it especially while pregnant, I've heard some bad things about it so far (miscarriages etc) and Im wondering if its worth the risk??? Are there any natural ways to clear a UTI naturally???

    I just got done taking it, so far ok except I don't think it cleared my uti. And make sure you eat with it, it said to take with milk or food. I tried it with just milk on night and I puked my guts out.
