I had my son 10 days ago and I'm having blood clots more than I was.. they aren't that big but they continue to come out when I'm using the bathroom.. I'm not sure if I should call my doctor or if this is normal...

This is my first baby and I haven't given birth yet, so I'm not sure. But if you have any concern I would call your doctor or even Labor and Delivery and ask their opinion. That's what they make the big bucks for!

Yes, they are normal. Its 9 months of built up blood in there, so it tends to clot up. Some nurses will 'knead' your belly after you give birth to get them all or mostly out, others won't. My first they didn't, but my second they did. My midwife did with my third (homebirth). If you sit on the toilet after you pee, put your hands into fists & 'knead' your tummy, it will help them to come out.
