extreme pain!!!

edited March 2011 in Pregnant
I'm having intolerable cramps. I have been to the ob two times in the last week bc of mild to severe cramping. Both the radiologist and the ob said my pain is due to a 5cm corpus ludeum cyst which has grown from 3 cm. I have had multiple miscarriages and now that this pain has become so intense I'm looking for alternative perspectives.

  • I'm sorry you're in so much pain. I don't know anything about cysts so I can't offer any advice but I can offer my hopes and wishes that something can be found to take your pain away
  • I'm sooo sorry, I get cysts a lot and the doctors tell me to just let them burst since they can't hurt you, there is some kinds of pain meds you can take tho, like tylenol 3 you should ask, they give them to me bc of seriously bad migraine. I hope its over soon for you, because I know how terrible that is and it's even worse dealing with pregnancy at the same time. @ cconutz01 the only thing I could think of besides asking for some relief from the pain until it bursts is heat, like a bath or small heating pads, just make sure to take the heat away about every 15 mins and if you get too hot. A good trick if you don't have anything at home is to take a large sock and fill it with rice and heat it up, you can mak it cover whatever area you need and it stays warm for a long time. Warm baths might help too
  • oops @cconutz01 realized you couldn't have been notified the way I wrote it
