Bleeding???? A liitle long sorry

So I am exactly 38 weeks today, I just took a shower because my back was hurting. After getting out of the shower I did a very gentle checking of my cervix when I brought my fingers out there was blood. I would compare it to the last, to second to last day of your period. Not brown by any stretch of the imagination. I whiped and there was still some blood. Not flowing our anything but not spotting. This is my third and in all of my pregnancies I have never bled after sex or an exam. Just a little worried. Should I wait to see if labor is starting? Should I call L&D? Help!

    Definitely call L&D... Just to be safe! I've never had that in my pregnancies either.

    @all Thanks for your help in the middle of the night. I ended up calling and went into the hospital to be monitored. They said iur was my "bloody show". On the monitors it was showing that I was having regular contractions but not really intense (i wasnt feeling them at all) so they let ber go home and said that I may be starting to go into labor soon!
