midwifery

I'm considering a career in midwifery here in Canada. Who is planning to have or has had a midwife deliver their baby? What motivates u to make that choice?
Are there any preglys who R midwives? Any info about the program? I live in Saskatoon where it has been regulated for 4 years or so but would potentially move to Ontario for school. Thanks, ladies.

    Thanks @HomeBirthAdvocate I had a feeling I could count on u to reply but didn't expect it so fast. Lol. I have to make the choice wisely as its a commitment not only on my part but my hsbd, daughter, and baby too. Moving across the country and starting a degree program at age 28 is a big deal. I feel so strongly about it, I am hopeful we can make it work.
