Hep B test positive? and ive been vaccinated...

edited March 2011 in Pregnant
so i went in a week or so ago and did my initial OB appt and they of course did a blood panel, well today the nurse called and said that the panel indicated id been exposed to, not necessarily infected with, hep a and asked if i had a cat and if so to refrain from handling the litter. i not sure how the two are related but ok will do.

then she said that he wanted to re-do the blood work in two weeks because i also tested positive for Hep B! i told her i was vaccinated for Hep B in 2005 because i was in a health related field, and my son was born in 09 so i know i was clear of it then too, in Sept of 2010 i went in to the ER for severe cramping and bleeding and they ran a blood panel then too to check for pregnancy and stds/infections and i wasnt informed of this then either. She said thats why they wanted to re-run it because it could simply be a false positive, or the test type could be picking up the vaccine antibodies and giving a positive- or i could actually have the virus and in which case id need to be monitored to make sure my liver was ok and the baby would need couple of shots at birth ( i looked online with the shots 95% of babies go on to be protected from the virus for life) she also said most people with Hep B never know it and their body fights it off without them ever experiencing symptoms???
then of course im worried about how i could have contracted it? ive had only one partener for a little over the past yr and before that no one since i got pg with my son in oct of 08. i asked if this meant my s/o was unfaithful and she said at this point theres no need to jump to conclusions and that new research was showing hep B carriers can spread the virus thru mucus and saliva (which id never heard) and that it was still quite possible the test was false. anyone know anything about this stuff because i am floored!
