early ultrasounds

I was just wondering has this happened to anyone else, my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a year so we were charting my ovulation dates very close,I ovulated on Dec 18 but my dr still went by my last lmp which was dec 4 putting me according to them at 8wks and 2 days even tho I knew ovulation date which was only 6wks and 2 days ago,today I had an ultrasound and it showed a gestational sac with fetal pole at 6wks and 2days. The dr starts talking about it possibly being a non viable pregnancy since I wasn't showing 8wks at least but I know according to my ovulation day I am not 8wks pregnant!! Anyway he sent me for quanitive labs and ill have a repeat in 2 days. Has this happened tto anyone else??

U may have ovulated later. Just repeat the labs they will give u the answers u need.

I wouldnt give up on it just yet, I myself would find a dr with a braun but thats just me I'm a nurse n can't say I'm.2 keen on drs

They always go by the date of you last period, that's why your technically prego for 10 months. Don't worry early ultra sounds are tuff, just hang in there if its meant too be it will be. I have had two mcs and now have a almost thee yr old and am prego again. Don't stress
