I have placenta previa and I have no clue wat it my be all I kno is that im not supposed to carry anything heavy and have intercourse and bend over for a ling period of time...im so lost and worried because I kno evey pregnancy is different but im scared of this complication....can some plz help

I can't remember exactly but if I remember right it means the placenta is in front or below the baby. Sorry I'm not much help. I wish You the best of luck.

The doctors think I might have that too , your placenta is covering the cervix, my doctor said that I might have to get a c section because vaginal child birth could cause excessive bleeding and can be very dangerous. There is no known cause for this to happen, and its nothing you did sometimes it just happens.

I have it too. Depending on how far along u r, it will likely move away from the cervix as the uterus grows.

If u have have any bleeding that is more than just spotting, then u need 2 c the doc or go 2 ER.

U need 2 avoid straining w/ bowel movements too.

According to my baby book, its when the placenta rips away from your uteral wall.

Nvm, that's placenta abruption. its when a fertilized egg implants in an incorrect position.

My mom had placenta previa with me. She did have to have a c section but I'm just fine. she didn't have any complications

Really Yea when the doctor told me she didnt get into too much detail she mainly just said the things I shouldn't do...i just hope I don't have to get a c section because my first child I had him normal thank u very much for the info

Really r u nervous im only 24 weeks how far along r u??...thats wat I heard, usually there is some spotting but I havent had any spotting at all and my bowel movement is fine so that's whu I found it odd when the doc told me I had this

Really yea I'm just nervous of having my bby c section my first child was normal so I'm just a lil nervous thanks though

I found out @ 11 w 4 d because I passed a small blood clot. I am nervous because it usually moves, but not always, & I very strongly want natural delivery. I'll have another US @ 18 w. Even @ 24 w there's tons of time for it to move.

Im 30 weeks & I hve marginal previa. Ive been havn it 4r bout 2mnths now & still no chnge. Wit my son 2yrs ago I had a c-sectn but only b/c I wasn dialating fast enough. I waz goin 4r a vbac dis time but it isn't gna happn. Ive bleed 4rm da previa & im now on bedrest until my c-sectn whch iz on June 1.
