Does the Dr do the ultrasound every visit?

My dr didn't do the u/s this time b/c she thinks it not good to do too much.

    No, usually you get 1-3 ultrasounds on average during your whole pregnancy if you have no complications.

    If you get an ultrasound every visit than its because.complications or some drs just do more. But you should hear the heartbeat each time

    I thought i can know the sex of the baby today, but dr said i will have the u/s @ 20 wks and they will telll me then. Can't wait to know. ;( Thanks everyone.
