Heart beat ?

Im only 10 weeks is it odd that the doc couldnt find the heart beat

    My doctor said at 10 weeks its only a 50/50 chance of finding it. So it is common.

    sometimes the babies are far back or something. did they do an ultrasound. i went in at 11 weeks and he couldnt find the heartbeat so he did a ultrasound and found it and it was very strong

    I went in yesterday, I'm 11 weeks 4 days and they couldn't find the heartbeat... I'm going in next week for an ultrasound... its a little scary, but the fact that I'm still puking everyday.... tells me that I'm still pregnant :o)

    No, it is often hard for the dr to find the babys heartbeat via doppler at 10weeks gestation. I went to my ob at 10weeks as well & they could not find mine, so they rolled over the ultrasound & took a look. Sure enough the baby was fine, with a 167bpm.

    no its not odd. they had trouble finding mine still and im 14wks but when they do u/s everything is fine.
