Epidural is a gift from God. Get some! I enjoyed labor. It's nothing like on TV. Even the reality shows are exaggerated. It really isn't that bad and It's the most memorable experience of ur life. Relax and enjoy this gift
Actually it was the two weeks after that I'm dreading goin thru again. But the labor itself is a breeze (compared to how its portrayed)
Do what I did and try not to think about the giving birth part. Sometimes I think moms are overly informed which just frightens more than helps. trust me though it's not so bad! An epidural made my first birth pain free!
The contractions feel like intense menstrual cramps. I actually found them more annoying than painful. I agree that we are too informed and get scared, but honestly, It's NOT that bad! And when u think back all u will remember is meeting the baby...not the pain. Think about it: if labor was as bad as ppl make it sound, NO ONE would have a sibling LOL! But for some reason, we keep having more
Don't listen to other peoples horror stories as well i did I was terrified. I couldn't have wished for my labour to go any better. Hoping this second will be just as good lol good luck though dont worry about.it. take it as it comes
I agree with the rest of the ladies don't listen to other peoples bad stories. Epidural is the way to go I didn't feel a thing literally the reason I knew he was out was bc they put him on me. I actually stopped pushing to take a pic of my sons fathers face it was priceless!! And hilarious. My mid wife said she'd been delivering for 15 years and never seen a woman stop pushing to take a pic lol. But don't be scared thrust me when I tell u it'll be the best day of ur life ;-)
