Who has had their first appointments and how did they go???

They gave me an ultrasound and when I seen my doctor he lets u hear the babies heart beat and mesures ur stomache. Im 34 weeks I also got a papsmear(idk how 2 spell it sorry) they took 2 long q-tip things and swabed the inside.

I have mine tomorrow morning, I already did my blood work Monday, but I know a pap, breast exam probably, ultra sound (depends on your Dr. They told me I am gettin one) and may tell the gender and heart beat probably goes with ultra sound

At my first they did an internal ultrasound did my height, weight and blood pressure. And I had a limited anual my ob said that since I had a pap in the last year I didn't need a full one and only felt the pelvic bones to be sure I could vaginally deliver a large baby( both my husband bad I were huge) and the appointment ended with a huge blood draw 5 or 6 vials of blood. For me they did my stats a pelvic exam there's some concern about natural delivery my pelvic is a lil small plus big size diff between bf and me im five foot one hes six three tried to find the heart beat but wasn't able to no worries though baby was just too young and lots of blood drawn

My first appt is next week. I will be 6 weeks. I know u usually can't hear heart until week 7. I'm excited and nervous.

My first apt was the other day, got blood drawn, std check and ultrasound... got to see the little flickering heartbeat. Go back on the 28th of Feb and we will get to hear it on the doppler so happy since I miscarried my last and didn't get to see the heartbeat.

Had my first appointment on thursday filed out paper work then saw the heartbeat then they took a crap load of blood I go back on the 24 of feb

They found out I was 4 months and not 3 on my first appointment plus figured out what my baby is since I'm so far. So, they push on your stomach to see how big your uterus is, pap, she just said she was checking my bones? lol, the ultra sound with the heart beat

U can't hear the heart untill 13 weeks or so but u can see it !!!!

Amazingly My first appointment was unexpected.I was having pain in my lower abdomen due to my menstrual cycle and so they did a sonagram to check my ovularies and Bam there was my beautiful baby and I was only four weeks.They did an introsonogram and one above the stomach..unfortunately I wasn't far enough along to see much but they did take blood.I am now Seven weeks and have had another check up since then due to the strange circumstances and the baby is fine a matter of fact I've grow quite tremendously that they are expecting twins to be seen soon..as unusual as this sounds i didnt have any signs of pregnancy and I also had a menstrual cycle so it was a shock.But im blessed and hoping for a boy.I have an appointment at the endof the week to see my babies heartbeats..GoodLuck.

I had to go in at 6wks and 2 days due to spotting, and only got height, weight and vaginal ultrasound. I was able to see the heart and hear it. They were even able to measure the heartbeat it was 115. The tech told me when she started that we probably couldnt hear it but then she had a huge smile and said well here it is. It was so wonderful I was so very scared that something was wrong. I am now 9wks 5days.

I am 14w 6d and i still haven't heard my babys heart beat my next apt is on Tuesday so i hope i get to then
