is it common to go the full 40 weeks?

I'm just worried my husband is going to b 3 hrs away for a family event when I am 36 weeks Its only one day should I worry about going n 2 labor?

I'm only 24 weeks and this is my first and his first as well. It's just we just moved to this new area and don't know anyone. family is faraway and I will have to work while he is gone

with my first i went the whole 40 weeks .

I wouldn't worry about 36wks too bad, especially for just one day. You will be fine hun, just don't stress yourself out.

My 1st I was 1day late.2nd 7days late.3rd 5days late and 4th 4days late and was induced bc he was 10lbs.I think u will b fine.try not to stress too much.

I wouldn't worry hun. Yes baby can come anytime after 36 weeks BUT the average is 39+ weeks. As well as 70-80% of first time moms go overdue I wouldn't worry too much, and I agree if he is 3 hours away, he is likely to make it as your first labor and delivery is typically 10-12 hours.
