I was ust wondering can anyone tell me what this test is. I know I have to drink something but how long does it take and what do they do?

They give u like an Orange juice u wait 2hours then have a blood test n Thts it u will have 2 wait maybe half an hour then u will have Ur results its just 2 c if u have g-diabetes I had it dnt worry bout it just take a book or magazine gd luck with everything.

Just make sure you don't eat anything sugary before you go. Like eggs, toast, only water no juice coffee or anything

Umm my first glucose test was only 1 hour long and i didn't have to wait for the results.

It took 3 days to get my results from the lab.

Mine was a 2 hour test. If I failed they make a diagnosis...no 3 hr test. Took 3 days to get the results.

Thanks ladies. I know I have to get it done soon. The doctor said I'll be getting it done at the end of may. So I was just wondering. Thanks again.
