Can a baby grow wit no heartbeat

Comments

  • It doesn't have one at all or can't be detected?
  • Doesnt have 1 at all
  • How far along are you?
  • I have heard that a baby can be felt "moving" and he/she has already passed way :( idk though
  • Are you talking about a blighted ovum??
  • Mmmm.... don't know how to answer this one... think we need more info...
  • I am going to say no. A human can not grow if it is not alive. The cells can not multiple if there is no energy source. If it has passed then it is not receiving nutrients.
  • Its just a general ?. Ive nvr heardmy babies heart beat nd im jus nervous bcus i have no symptoms
  • 6 weeks. Nd no ultrasound nd yea it really is that confusing lol

  • This is my 2nd pregnancy and I didn't hear either heartbeat until I was around 10 or 12 weeks. Tilted uterus' make it harder to detect or could just be to early to detect.
  • At 5 weeks they couldnt see my babies heart beat.. I went back a week later and my levels increased like they should.. But still no heart beat..

I go in monday and I will be 9 weeks and 4 days.. I will let you know if baby is still growing and if they see a heart beat.

How far along are you @donaa_0310
  • Hey sweetie, im 18w an didnt hear my babys hb 4 weeks ago. Or any of my appointments matter of fact. I go back on monday so ill cross my fingers. But really dont worry about it. Ur prolly not even showing yet but if u do get bigger, thats a good sign. I was really upset when I couldnt hear it :/ there are alot of reasons u cant hear it, first of all ur waaay to early. Id start worrying in another 6 weeks. Ok this is what I did, I was really worried after my 13th week appointment. I went to the emergency room a few days after n told them I was pregnant and cramping and scared. They did an ultrasound right away. I didnt get to see it but they assured me that there was a baby in there and it looked good. But anyways ur really early baby boo so jus try not to stress. I heard they cant even hear it till 8weeks.

  • Awww sweetie best way for you to get some info is to look at some pregnancy web sites. This will show you that your baby is literally a tiny spec inside a tiny jelly bean shape sac of fluid. You won't feel movements or anything like that for quite some time. If you are very worried though go to your doctor and get him to explain things better to you

  • @firsttimemommytobe i like yu lol nd yes i was speakin hypothectically i said it early on i guess she ddnt read everything. But yes it doea feel like,i lost symptoms bcs my sis is like 5weeks nd still have symptoms. She hasnt starred prenatals. I was jus askin a ?
  • At 6wks its to early to see the baby on an u.s sometimes u can if that they do the vaginal u.s. If u haven't already call yr doctor and share your concerns. They can at least check and make sure its meaduring right based on your period. Or if yr really concermed go to the hospital tell them your pregnant and your have been spotting a little. I am confused by all this too but i hope everything is ok.

  • My OB/GYN won't even perform an ultrasound 'til 10 or 11 weeks because there's very little to see before that and it just stresses out the moms. She won't use a doppler to listen to a heartbeat 'til 14 weeks. I have an old classmate who said she didn't even know she was pregnant the first time 'til she was 5 or 6 months because she had no symptoms.
