My ob recommended i go see a chiropractor. i made an appointment for this week. Im so nervous! i've never been to one before and i totally don't know what to expect. what if he makes my pain worse? lol what do they do to you?
I love my chiropractor. Usually they will do a full work up, if u weren't prego they would do xrays. Mine adjusts my back, neck, hips and anything else that is bothering me. Just make sure u ask questions and if they want u to do something that is not comfortable for u speak up. I had a chiropractor once who asked me to lay on my stomach when u was 6 months pregnant. My chiropractor that I have now has a bed that is adjustable to accommodate a pregnant belly.
i love love love the chiropractor. Its the only dr i go to faithfully (bsides my obgyn, of course). The only advice i can give you is to relax!! If you get adjusted dont tense up your muscles, just let your mind go somewhere else.
