Any on taking or have taken Chlomid? Hubby & I have been trying to conceive for 16 months now w/ no BFP, but we went to the dr bc my cycles are out of wack and always have been. I was put on Chlomid and this is our first round, we are praying for twins, but even more we are praying for our BFP on our first round. Just wanted to hear some stories from those who have taken Chlomid.

This story isn't much encouragement. I tried clomid for one month but it didn't do anything. Then 4 drs later they figured out I had a pituiary tumor. Clomid doesn't work on them I guess. They put me on femara so now we are trying that. Hope to hell it works because I don't know how much more I can take.

Sorry to hear that! I'm w/ ya! 16 months and I'm losing my mind there are 13 girls I went to school w/ that are due btwn jult and oct. I'm emotional everyday! I just want to be a mommy sooooo bad!

Me n my hubby conceived with clomid..we had been trying for approx a year and out of the blue I stopped getting my period..my doc prescribed clomid and another drug (dont remember the name right now sorry) but after 4 clomid cycles we conceived..no twins for us but we have a health baby girl arriving in 3 wks..stay encouraged!

I also used clomid for several months but I had no luck with it the problem wasn't with me though it was with my husband. His sperm count was just real low so they also gave him clomid! They just doubled his dose but still nothing! We tried several things but had no luck... so as we started to look into adoption the past few months I end up preggo! Lol I was so shocked and still am! I just think clomid messed with my head and emotions so much because I was sure it would solve our problem and that it would work... when I would become disappointed each month I could no longer take that roller coster ride... sorry I am not not much help but I have a couple of friends that tried it as well and had no luck with it. I believe that a lot of it is in our heads, we need go have faith and have some peace at mind... it took me 6 long years and just as I was willing to accept it and move on (starting our adoption process and going to cocollege) I am surprised at how things worked out but I understand it a bit better now... I wish you the best of luck! Keep your chin up and keep ur faith!

Its hard with me too. All my friends are prego or have kids. Then I go on fb and its just rubbed in my face again. I hate it. I would love to have twins too. It would be so fun! My thoughts and prayers are with ya! Hopefully it works right away for ya!

We tried for a year then was put on Clomid conceived on the first round but lost it then conceived again on the forth round. My son is 6 yrs now. After that I got preggers on my own 9 month later. We call Jim our oops baby. So my first two ate 17 months apart. Now we tried for 8 month for this one and we conceived on the second round.12 wks preggers. No twins the percentage is only 5% I think. But my gf used Clomid with all her preg. And had 2 sets of twins .

@ needamiracle I totally understand, yes everytime I get on fb someone is announcing that they are prego & most are havin their 2nd,3rd, or 4th. My husbands cousin and wife are having their third and she just had their 2nd on 9 months ago, I am happy for them but its like a slap or a haha. Christmas def brutal bc that was all everyone talked about, & she was so sensitive to smell its like the day revolved around it: ( it just makes me sad! I get so depressed.
