If you were a moderator what would you do different???
not to start drama, just asking seems like everyone has they're way of how things should be done so im wondering, i just joined a few days ago and i just read alot, so just curious
i would make a catagory specifically for debates, becasue some of us need to get it out once in a while

never step to levels
remainn professional
never go on a power over drive......
jus sayin
Or just not post personal matters.
This is just what I would do to keep things professional. But I would also just like to read the posts and place them in the right category, I like organizing. :P.
I think there should be a 110% open door policy, and right now there isn't. Ladies are fearful about retaliation around here, and it seems like personal vendettas are getting in the way of professionalism. What might be offensive to some may not matter to others, so being able to determine what's in the best interest for everyone needs is difficult to decide, so someone who can look at both sides clearly and unbiased is much needed.
Fair, anonymous is the way it shouldve been from the beginning...
*reply to each email in person, even if you are going to post a thread about the situation, so that the member(s) who asked about it does not feel like they are being ignored
*have a rule discussion category so people can get the answers they need regarding the rules
*make sure all mods are on the same page regarding a particular post, for instance, one mod sees that a thread is getting out of hand temporarily close it and get the opinion of the other mods or at least one other mod before closing it completely..
*before banishment the mods must hold trial where the member can present his/her case and the mods vote on the banishment
2. Remain annonymous because if u don't u let ppl all in your business and they loose respect for u
3. Not close discussions with opinions about the moderators....trust me if they didn't know who u are it wouldn't be a post about it
4. I would be able to assess the job I am doing based on member feedback and try to make adjustments even if they hurt a little
5. I would remain objective (arguements and call outs are never good even if members have a problem with u...ur suppose to b the professional)
@praying4our3rd so do i... it would have gone much smoother with the kerri and jenn thing if there were definitive records of the reason(s) especially now that the mod who did the banning stepped down from her role because of an outburst at a member (no offense to anyone just stating a fact)
