Wisdom teeth

So one of my wisdom teeth is infected. Dentist put me on amoxicillin to clear up infection then wants to pull two of them in two weeks. Is this safe? Says he can use local anesthetic...nothing else. I've never had teeth pulled and only 1 filling...not looking forward to this.

No worries. I was freaked out when I had mine cut out (3 of them) right after I found out I was pregnant. Its scary but u don't feel anything but mad pressure. They numb ur gums with like 6 shots of novacaine and its on. The worst part is after and having to rely on tylonel for pain relief once the numbess is gone. But the surgery itself isn't too bad. And it only took bout 15 min to get 3 out. Good luck momma and im sure you will be fine.

Yeah its ok..ur doc will have to sign a medical release..and they won't give you the good pain meds while ur pregnant...I need mine out but they're just gonna wait until after I have the baby.

uuggghhh girl i was just at the dentist 2day for a toothache an they have to pull my tooth on thursday. its safe..but its nooooo fun.. im so not lookin fwd to it.

My doctor said it's safe. Ask them to pack it with witch..... Something just say that and they'll know. That's the only think that helps if you get dry socket. Not trying to scare you just want to make sure your comfy afterward because dry socket is painful and very common.

Ugh...thanks for the info....I'm so dreading this...this infection hurts tho! Firrst major toothache I've ever had...not fun! ;-)
