My husband wants to have more children and thats ok, but he wants to start trying right after I have this baby. I'm like WTF! We both want a big family but I have other things that I want to do. should I get on birth control and not tell him? what do you ladies think?

I do not think you should go behind his back. Just explain to him that you also want a big family, but you have to give your body time to heal after having a baby.

Once the baby comes and the 2:00 feedings come along. He'll will change his mind. Guys are so simple minded and don't think how hard it is going to be. But he will learn fast and maybe decide he wants to wait a little bit longer.

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't lie about it, but you should be able to find a ton of articles and research to show him about why its so much better for you and your body to wait 18 months before then next one.

I dont think lying to your husband is a good idea. You guys need to compromise on this. How old are you? Do you have alot of time to have a big family?

Don't lie....breast feed if u don't skip feeding it is a method of birth control at least for the beginning then u can further discuss it and see how u feel and him. I want back to back kids but I'm not married and I want to b if I'm gonna b popping out babies lol Good luck

Well Ani'lah Chanel is due august 29th and he already has it planned that he wants to start trying in december, but i want to finish school. I'm doing online courses at home now but its not the same as being on campus and pretty soon I will have clinicals that have to be done on campus. OMG such a decision

December is soon. I've read it takes AT LEAST 6 months for your body to adjust after having a baby. Getting pregnant so soon could be dangerous. I'm not a Dr, that's just what I've read.

well, we do have a little bit of time to have more children. we have 4 sons now but they have age gaps, 13, 9 and 6 year old twins. His brother has children that are stair steps 1, 2 and 3 so he wants to have more and make them stair steps so that we can get it out the way and they can grow up together and have things in common

Well I think u should give ur body a rest first n just tell him that u want to wait n he should be able to wait until ur r ready personallly I think having them back to back is hard

Dont lie to him but have a discussion. Your family shouldnt be based off someones else family. That is why it is YOUR family. It should be based on what you both agree on. It has to be something you both want. If you do what he wants you may resent him later. Keep in mind you are the one that has to carry another baby. Go with something that you both car agree on. Also keep in mind if you guys are ready for another baby right away.

After we had our baby the specialists said we only had to wait 3 months. Every pregnancy is different. Express your concerns to him.
