  • I hid for 20weeks lol, until my body started acting up, no personal days left. I needed to have fmla set up just in case.
  • I just did today at our monthly meeting, I'm only 13 weeks. Everyone was surprised but happy for me.
  • I told my supervisor becuz I needed to be excused from a mandatory meeting becuz of a Dr appt. Well 2 wks. later she spilled the beans to every1. Stupid supervisor.
  • I'm a night nanny for a little girl and i told my boss when i was 6wks b/c the little girl kept asking me why I was always tired.
  • I told my boss as soon as I heard heartbeat, and good thing too, the next week started morning sickness from hello. He is very understanding and helped me get out on medical and said job is ready anytime I can come back. Glad I didn't wait!
  • I'm just lucky they don't ask why I have to leave early once a month for a doc appt LOL....I have one Monday to find out the sex....ill probably still hide it hehehe...buy hopefully they make a decision soon
  • I work with my aunt she knew before I told her and I was only 12 weeks when I told her
  • @jellybean1015 you are lucky .too many bosses are turd buckets about pregnancy.
  • I just started my job this week so needless to say, I havent told them. Im definitely showing but I can hide it pretty well. Until someone asks, Im not saying a word.
  • I fell for all the hiders LOL!!! I'd love to blurted it out but I need job stability first!!!
  • I told work as soon as I knew so they would excuse me from bs when I wasn't feeling like dealing with it...lol I shared with facebook last month when I was 4 months because I competed in a pageant and didn't want them to think I was weak competetion so I kept it from being public
  • @pookypoo22 I can see why you would hide your pregnancy I had to with my first cause I was trying to get a new job. Do you ever just tell complete strangers so you can get if off your chest? Lol I did that a lot this time around because I didn't tell any family til after 12 week scan. I had to tell my job right away because i do very physical work with lots of lifting so I always have to ask for help.
  • @socalMOMMA2boys i sit on my butt all day at work LOL so no heavy lifting or anything! gotta love customer service
  • I told my work as soon as i knew.. i cant do surgeries or take xrays and lift heavy things.. so i had to spill it as soon as i knew.. one of the drs i work with had taken xrays while pg and her baby was born missing a lung!!
  • I'll tell my board chair in a few weeks. I just don't want our board members rubbing my belly and all that. Ugh!
  • I'm going to tell family and close friends who don't already know after my appointment on Thursday bc I will be a day short of 8 weeks and should at least see if not hear the heart beat by then....I'm going on a cruise for my anniversary which will be two weeks after that appointment so as for facebook I think I'm going to post something like "Off to the carribean on my cruise to celebrate my wedding anniversay and 1st official mothers day! (since we will be away during mothers day) Work...I'm just going to let them hear it through the grape vine and facebook lol!!
