Need somewhere to vent!! boyfriend worked 8 hours today came home and said he wanted to go out for a pint! ok i'll drive and off we go! get to pub have two drinks i'm tired and want to go home but he doesn't!! so he tells me clear off home i'm staying out! i tried to explain to him that we dont have the money for him to be out drinking but he dont care!
i have told him he needs to put this baby first and needs to sort out his attitude but he don't listen:( so i transferred all his money out of his bank account to mine as he had £40 to live on for a week! he went mad and started shoutin at me saying i have done it now! was i in the wrong??
all i want is for him to stop acting like a child and to act like the 36 year old man he is! i tried to say what happens when baby is here and we have £40 to live on and we need nappies, wipes,milk etc is he going to say well tough i want beer?? what should i do??

Girl I would have done the same thing. Men I found become more tool like when we become prego. Its like we gain babies and they lose brains. Keep giving him hell. And one day he will realize that life isn't just about him.

I don't see anything wrong with you transfering the money. If he isn't going to have respect for you and the baby then he deserved that. I am in a little bit of the same thing except my husband puts his obsession with buying guns before me and the baby. I always transfer out the money to make sure he doesn't spend it. I am so sick of his crap with the money and not matter what I say he won't stop. I just don't let him know if we were to have any money. I will put my baby first and make sure we can survive.

I understand why you did it but he is not your husband so its essentially stealing and he could report you for it. You need to sit him down and find out where you stand also maybe talk about a joint account for stuff for both of you abstract the baby.

Idk I'm dealing with the same thing....my bf bought an xbox, a bedroom set, beers, and wants to go out to eat/movies every night and when I said hey we should get some clothes and diapers he thought I was crazy for doing it so early. (5 months)
mine isn't even mature enough to come over to my familys house to hang out, lets out the grossest farts in my face, and thinks it's ok. Wants me to buy Victoria's Secret bras for boobs that aren't even going to stay the same size...then whines when I don't. Told me flat out he has no reason to ever come to my parent's house. Even the simplest things make me feel like total crap, like when he will go into a door first and not hold it open for me, or how he will eat the most/last/best food, always. Mine isn't mature enough for a baby, not at all. Sorry.. I needed to vent too

the thing that really bugs me is he has a child already he is 13 years old and he did the same thing when he was a baby but i really thought he had changed! he had rebuilt a relationship with his son and had changed so much! stopped drinking and all sorts he was really excited about having this baby! he gets on well with his family now and he gets on great with my family! but if my parents saw the way he treated me when he does this and goes out drinkin they would go mad!!
we share all our money and he is the one who gave me his bank details so i can transfer money etc so i dont see it as stealing!!
