Contractions and already dilated why won't the hospital admit me???

I'm 36 weeks when I was checked last week I was 3 centimeters and 50% thin

Omg that happened to me with my last pregnancy I went into labor all the time. They stopped it and it kept happening. Then they induced me two days before my due date, then when I had her they said she was late... I was beyond pissed

They won't admit you until at least 4cm I got 4 days left having contractions for over 3 weeks and I am still at home. I need less than a quarter inch to stay in so I am frustrated and know where you coming from. My ob said that all they actually can stop is the contractions and not actual labor. So you might just need to drink more water or juice to stay hydrated. It's my 3rd and it never been that way.
