Pain Killers

I went to the hospital yesterday not for the baby but for a huge bump on my leg. They cut it & what not & gave me hydrocodone for the pain. Bit I'm scared to take any pain meds because of the baby. Should I not take them or is it ok?

    They put me on hydrocodone when i was 30 weeks and i am now 35 weeks. I was told to take it only if tylenol didn't alleviate the pain.

    My ob gave me my prescription. Every doctor is different so make sure they are ok by your ob.

    I had a really bad kidney infection, bladder infectin, and kidney stones.

    @Marierica I'm 15 weeks now. I just don't want any harm to my unborn.

    Just take half of one my baby is fine I am now 26 weeks it a b class drug I had it when I had the flu and the cough syrup was not safe but the vicodin had the same ingredient if your worried just call your ob

    I went yesterday morning to the ER & I took my first pain killer at midnight last night. I'm in pain now but I'm scared of taking too much. I have a OB appointment today at 4 so he'll let me know.

    I take the same pills and I have to get my hip replaced my ob said it would be fine in my case talk to ur ob if he says ok then its ok. Im 12 weeks and everything is fine with my baby

    I just wanna be sure. Not a first time mom but never been given hydrocodone while pregnant.

    Im taking antibiotics too. Should I take my prenatals too with everything?

    If your not comfortable with it ask your ob to prescribe you tylenol 3 it still has codine in it

    your in the second trimester that's the safest one to take things. I was in a car wreck in nov, and couldn't walk in dec. My drs put me on vicoden and that didn't work, so they put me on percocet. Trust ir drs. Pain stresses baby out which is not good, pain can also lead to a high BP
