could my baby have seizures in utero?

I have noticed my baby moving unusually fast. Its too fast for hiccups. Its like a heartbeat and sometimes so fast it feels like he is vibrating. I'm worried he is having a seizure :-( I'm due on Friday.

S/he could just be stretching out or you could be having painless bractston Hicks and it feels like baby is shaking. But you might want to call your doctor just to set your mind at ease.

I feel his little foot kicking its just like its involuntary.

I wondered the same thing and I read it could be the central nervous system developing and that it is causing involuntary movement? From what I understand, they cannot have seizures in there but that's just what I have read. Asking your doc is going to be your best bet.

I've had the same kind of movements all day/night and wondered the same thing. I go to doctor Wednesday & am gonna ask as well.

I asked my doc .... no, the baby can't have seizures ....its hiccups or central nervous system.
