a convo that really lit up my life!

edited April 2011 in Just for Fun
So the other day I was at Kwik Star, a gas station where I live, and a mentally challenged girl was behind me in line. she looks at my belly and asks "are you having a baby?" i said "yes" she says "why?" i said "well because i want one" she then asks me "what's her name?" i told her "well we are naming him Caleb!" she then says "i think you should name him Rudolph" i chuckled and told her i'd think about it! her mom then told her she shouldnt be talking to strangers and the little girl kept telling her mom that we werent strangers, that we were friends. she was absolutely adorable and so happy!! she def. touched my life that day and made me realize that even when you are dealt a poopy hand, to always find a reason to smile and love life!! just thought i'd share!! sorry so long!!

  • Awww that's nice. My 3yr old daughter was scared of a mentally challenged man because he was making loud noises in the mall. He was also coloring and when he noticed my daughter was afraid he held his picture up and made friends and she was no longer afraid. I was proud of her :) and thanked him he educated my daughter in a way I couldn't
