Spotting at 18 weeks?

Is it normal? I had a cervical exam the day before yesterday and it hurt so bad, and i've been spotting on and off since then could that be it? the color is dark brown, has that happened to anyone this time in their pregnancy?

    yea its normal .. my doctor told me its normal to have spotting after an internal ultrasound, pelvic/cervix exam

    Yeah they say its just your cervix being irritated

    Ok, thanks ladies I feel better knowing it's normal, dr told me it might happen but I thought it's only right after, didn't know it'll last 2 days.

    @ashleyfew, @angeliaandme, thanks for the feed back, yes I called the nurse and thats what she said and she told me to go to the hospital if I get cramping or pressure. Thank god it stopped yesterday,i was just a little worried cause I was having bad back pain also, but I'm just taking it easy now.

    Yea when I got it dne I didn't start spotting till 2days later
