sooooo.....How will I know when ITS time!??!

Might be a stupid question (hopefully not) but I am a first time mom and I am curious....will I KNOW when its time? Im only 31 weeks so I dont plan on going into labor anytime soon....want my babygirl to be happy and at least be 37 weeks+ BUT I have no idea what to expect! I have Braxton Hicks contractions every other day it seems like and I get backpain alot at night, but I am curious what everything will feel like when its time.

My husband and I are military so I go to an Army hospital when the time is right, theyre goal I think its to get ya right in and right back out lol

Anyone have some insight to help

Yes you will know. I didn't feel the beginning cause it was a little crampy but it gets really strong. You may only feel it in the back. So anything that's happening like clock work time. Labor is different with everyone

When you can't get comfortable or go to sleep because of contractions then its time.

Basically you won't be able to sleep through the pain, I had horrible cramping in my back that wasn't very long or close together but was definitely contractions. Also moving and changing position won't relieve the pain like it does with braxton hicks.

With my son my water broke two days before my due date so there wasn't any guessing. So I'm freaking out with this one wondering if it will be the same or if I'm gonna be asking myself are these real contractions or am I crazy. I feel like a ftm again.....I hope its not that hard to tell. I'm tired of hearing about women who have irregular contractions for weeks before the real thing it scares me to death to think about being in pain for so long. Ahhhh I guess what I'm saying is your not alone......

@coolbabybeans I'm in the same situation. My midwife described my last labour as 'textbook'. My waters broke 2 days before my dd and them contractions started shortly afterwards I'm also wondering if this will be the same. I hope so.

You will just know! The contractions r very close..tummy hard as a rock...hella pain!

Ya right now I cant seem to get comfortable at night because I keep getting bad leg pain and hip pain So we will see only 9 weeks left!!

You'll know. Comtractions wont stop, you wont want to eat or drink or sleep or anything. My last one was all natural, she was born in the van on the way to the hospital. I would get nauseous, was thirsty but nothing tasted right, when the pains came I couldn't even think, just feel. I should've gone in before I did, obviously, but she was my first natural birth, and im gonna do it again!

Omg i feel like a ftm too only bcuz its been three yrs since i had a baby. I have been having contractions on an off since i was 31 wks. Had to get the steroids shot and they had to stop my contractions last time i wad in was at 34almost 35 wks n they told me i had already dialated to 3cm n that was this past saturday this sunday will be 36 wks im so ready to have my baby
