Baby's heartbeat and gender?

Hey all, does anybody believe in the old wives tale about if the baby heartbeat is fast its a girl and slower it's a boy? Just wondering...

    Um.. I not sure but I'm wanted it to be bc I really want a girl. Work for my aunt, but then again my friends had boys who had higher heart beats .. so who really knows lol

    No.they say 150 and above is a girl and 149 and lower is a boy but im pregnant with a girl and the second time they recorded her heartbeat it was 146 and the third time it was 156.

    With my boy he was always 156 + im haven a girl now and hers is 140's
