so scared help

I have my 20 week appointment today. I am so scared and I know it is only because I had a missed miscarriage past year (found out at my 16week appointment). I can not seem to shake my fear of going to the doctor. This pregnancy is completely different than last years. Haven't had any bad news at all. However I am so scared I don't want to be hurt again. I haven't even felt my baby move (i am anywhere from 19 weeks 4days to 20 weeks 4days). My ultrasound is next week

This is my third child and I didn't really feel him move until I was around 20-22 weeks. It's supposed to be easier to feel the baby earlier when you've had kids before, too. So don't let lack of movement worry you. You'll get to see your baby in a week and after that you will get to feel them move and you'll feel better. Mine rolls around like crazy now!

It's normal u haven't felt any movement yet esp if its ur first. I understand ur fears, my last was nerve wrecking after my mc. I mourned that first baby again after I had my daughter finally realizing what I had lost the first time. But I feel in my heart u r fine and everything works out as it should. If u r scared of going to the doctor, is it possibly a problem with him or her? Or does the clinical environment remind u of last time? I strongly recommend seeking the care of a midwife. U will find it much more caring and personal, sensitive to ur feelings and considerate of ur past. Take care and good luck

@BabyRosalee my doctor was great threw out my loss as well as this time. In my heart I know everything will be ok but in my head I can't shake my fear. It sucks because I so want to be excited

@bonita85 ay girlly vas a estar bien, i had two mcs prior to this bby, and like u said its alot diffrent havent had any problems....stay positive wish u the best and let me know what u r hving, god willing youll find out tgat day....

@gabbyc thanks so much for Ur kind words. We got to hear the babys heartbeat ultrasound is gonna be May 2nd. I can't wait!
