Okay I'm 17 & pregnant and even though I'm still a teen I know I'm ready for my little boy .. what bothers me is I saw this girl on an app and she said she was 13 & pregnant ... I'm shocked .. that's too young.
I also agree with @firsttimemommytobe. I'm 17 also but I know people must think i'm too young. At least she is stepping up to her responsibility. (not trying to offend)
Yea im 21 and people still look down on me for being pregnant! You can never please everyone. So since we are pregnant also we should be supportive of her and not put her down...
I had a conversation with one of my nursing students about her 12 year old cousin who was pregnant. Its scary because you haven't finished puberty at that age and the body isn't ready. Your hips haven't widened.... boobs aren't ready.... they are medically concerned about her.
The other ineresting part of it is a 12 year old making adult decisions. Her mom is a single mom with other kids. She works 3 jobs to make ends meet. The 12 year old obviously cannot financially support the baby. Mom wants to put the baby up for adoption but the 12 year old doesn't.... and her decision is honored
@firsttimemommytobe I agree with u and then on the other hand I think wat is a 12 year old doing having sex I mean I didn't start having sex until I was 17 I never thought of boys at that age
My first thought was about her hips. Hipbones aren't ready until about 16. Then my mind goes, 'wait, she's having sex that young?' I lost my virginity at 15 and I thought that was pretty young. I don't want to be judgemental, but yikes, that just sounds medically dangerous!
I do remember that at 15 or 16 whenever I was ovulating, I'd get random thoughts about how much I'd like to have a baby then I'd go, 'wait what?! Not yet!' I'm 19 now and expecting my first and hopefully last.

Incredibly difficult.
