When is a good time to to take a tour of our maternity ward?

I'm 25 weeks soon to be 26 weeks, I know its always good to take a tour of our local maternity ward. But I'm not sure when or how far along would be good to take that visit!!!!

Now is good. Ask your dr about pre-registering with the hospital, most of the time you can take the tour then. You can also call the maternity ward and make an appointment at your convenience. They usually want you to wait until the fetus is viable, about 27 weeks, so you can go any time now.
