The "Signs" we are waiting for! :D

edited April 2011 in Just for Fun
This is my First Pregnancy! I'm a little over 36 weeks now and everything inside of me feels like it's changing. My kicks have turned into interesting Rolling Pressure's... She has dropped, allowing me to breathe and sleep once again haha Not to mention I don't have a butt and feet in my ribs anymore <3

What I was wondering is;
Are there any "signs" or feeling's you're waiting for, or even expecting to let you know that your little one is almost here? I know there is no absolute way of telling, but I'm just curious because it's all so interesting :)

    Some signs can be losing your mucus plug (not everyone loses it until labor), it can come in chunks or in a big glob. Its a big snotty looking glob of discharge that can be blood tinted. Your bloody show is another one, its mucusy like blood and usually happens 48 hours before labor or during labor, another one is you will feel like you have the flu. You will get diarrhea which is your body's way of cleaning itself out before labor. You will feel more and more pressure down there. Just remember to relax!! :) and remember, nothing you try will work to induce yourself unless the baby is ready :) good luck hun and congrats! You're almost there
  • I was told if u start having a cleaning spree then u have the baby
  • I'm also 36 weeks (37 on Monday) besides the regular breaking water n all that my cousin who had her baby a year ago said she felt a lot of pressure for a couple days before her water broke and She had a stomach ache before contractions started...not everyone loses their mucous plug, I have heard of women who didn't lose theirs until they were at the hospital...and my mom said she had a back ache all day before her labor started...I guess we just got to listen to our bodies and know when we feel different...
  • @expectingbabynumber3 does washing the walls/scrubbing every last dang thing in the house count? Because oven been scrubbing away so anxiously because it feels good lol and Noo baby..
  • Lol that's wat I heard n it happened to me wit my first. I clean everything walls, everything the next day I went to labor idk if its true or it just happen
  • I've also heard about nesting!
    My friends mom said she would go to the extent of cleaning her mothers ash tray after every "flick" into it. She's a bit older so smoking in the house, and around kids wasn't so frowned apon... :)
