im a new mom, not a freakin cripple
We came home from the hospital and its in the 60's...like the warmest day so far this spring. It's sunny and beautiful. I tell my husband right away when we get home that I wanna go for a walk today. After we all nap (me, hubs, and all 3kids) he decides he is going to take our oldest for a walk to the park...I was going to walk w my dad. My dad got side tracked by "housework" so I call my hubs to find out which park they are at and tell him I'm walking there cuz I didn't want to walk alone. He tells me they will start walking back and meet me. Then we r walking towards the store and some rummaged sales and he informs me that I should not b out. That I can't walk. He also let's me know what a jerk I am bc they had just got to the park and I MADE them leave-I was gonna go sit and watch my son play at the park but ok...whatever. so now I'm beyond pissed...I tell him fine, u go back to the park and I'm gonna go home and sit bc apparently that's all I can do all of a sudden. I start walking home and he is following and trying to talk to me...I told him like 5 times to leave me line before finally half running away from him. I'm in tears at this point bc I'm sick of being treated like I can't do anything and like he doesn't want to do anything w me. He continues to follow me all the way home. Mind u that while I was still pregnant I couldn't get him to lift a finger to help out-I was still hauling laundry up and down the stairs and carrying both kids around. But now that she's here I can't even walk?! I had an amazing vaginal delivery-no tears or any other problems. Granted my stomach isn't feeling 100% but I just had 6.5 lbs removed from me and have been unable to crap! Most of my "pain" right now is gas...I said I wanted to walk to hopefully work some of it out. There...better...thanks for letting me rant!
